Do you know Mt. AKAGI.
This mountain is very famous in GUNMA.
Mt. Akagi is also one of the Joumou-sanzan along with Mt. Myogi, Mt. Haruna.
In this weekend, I went there with my twins. This is the first time them to vist Mt. Akagi.
Location of Akagi
Akagi is located in Maebshi city (previously known as Fujimi vil).
In this time of season, many people try to climb the mountain.
If you are a person who wants to try, I recommend the place where you try is Komagatake of Akagi.
This is for beginners. The elevation of Komagatake is about 5,528ft.
You can see a lot of nature there.
I wasn’t there for climbing…
I had to take care of the children alone so that my wife hung out with her friends.
We were going for a walk there.

I visited there many times when I was young, but these days, I seldom…
After having a child, this was the first time.
My children wanted to stop by the souvenir shop because it was cold.
I had never entered a shop when I was there.
There are 4 or 5 souvenir shops. Those are small and old shops. Every time I go there, I don’t insist on visiting there.
A very kind shopwoman talked to us.
” Hi… What can I do for you”
She served 4 bean-paste buns and a cup of shiitake mushroom tea for no charge.
I talked to her couple of minutes. I purchased Shiitake mushroom tea it has because very good taste.
It cost me about \600(in 30 piece).
To close
Actually, I stayed there just couple of hours. Because my children wanted to come back home. Too cold…
If you want to go there, I recommend you visit the spring season.
